Don't forget the shifters and 8 of the most pain in the ass bolts you'll ever meet.

Had to "modify" the hoist chain so the head bolt would fit.

2014-05-24 13.18.23.webp

All systems go?.. Not quite we had the leveler turned around and it wouldn't pass the heater hoses.

Just found out its going to be another 3 weeks before the 2H ships.. Damn

Anyone know why I can't go back and edit my posts? I need to fix a few spelling and mislabeled things? I could yesterday.

Man, after taking your money, they're sure taking their time!

You should be able to edit your posts. Should be a link below the text of your post, then your signature.

Good news is the reason was they took the head off and it had cracks so there getting a new head brought in and will redo the gasket. So better have a delay then have a second one got TitsUP.

On the edit, looks like I can only edit the most recent post. Not the prior ones. Looked on the help section and lots of similar complaints but no answer that I found.

Make sure they give you compression numbers and a run video after the work is done!!!

Buy a Silver Star and you can edit older posts ... I just checked on this on an older post in another thread ....

You still have a chance to change this

Yeah yeah, I know, I am just messing with you

The instant power of a vortec is pretty addicting, I'm sure, but there's not much in this world that beats a diesel spooling up under load :D

Except a bigger diesel ... you need an ISC 8.3 in that 60, Johnny :grinpimp:

What can I tell ya Johnny, we simply have different opinions. Both variants have been proven to work well and improve the overall performance of the Land Cruiser.

@NCFJ I'm straight outta low-cash having just "invested" in Shasta a few months ago. while the vortec is nice, an engine transplant was not on my short term to do list. cost containment is a priority now. that, and Johnny makes some good koolaide.

No worries, I was just messing around a bit.
