My son is 18 today. Blows my mind . Of course he wanted to skip school yesterday to fish. It paid off and we will eat good tonight.

While at the yacht club I noticed a 100 which belongs to the son of a coworker. I had not seen it in a few years. The kid has done a good job building it and he wheels it. Love the decal.
There's not much better to eat than fresh caught Red Snapper!

This is the time of year when driving a 40 gets fun. All the way to Lowe’s and home without sweating through a shirt. The local high school football team is holding a car show/ fundraiser which I promptly signed up for. I am now going to miss it as my son and I are attending an open house at one of the Universities he has been accepted to. @alabamatacomaguy …car show at GBHS 10/25 if your interested I can text you the info.

Hope your son’s college visits go well. That’s cool yall are doing it together. October is a busy month for me this year. One of my valuable right hand people are going to be out several weeks due to surgery making me need to travel more.

Reviewing your thread this AM. When you switched your upholstery, did your guy(s) match the door cards to the seats? If so, can you share a pic?

“Iron Yak” I love it! Maybe the most appropriate name for a 40 I’ve ever heard. Mine is more of an iron pig at the moment, but transitioning slowly. Good looking rig!

No 40 talk however I do plan to drive it tomorrow. We have been telling our son if he gets his college paid for we will buy him a new car. On Wednesday he was awarded a 4 year NROTC scholarship in addition to a presidential scholarship. He is now asking for the 200 instead of a new car.

He is having a great week. Went to his girlfriend’s family hunting camp for the first time and got his first deer.

ROTC scholarship is an excellent way to get college paid for…and have a worthy job waiting for you when you graduate.No 40 talk however I do plan to drive it tomorrow. Merry Christmas mudders.
Hard to believe my wife surprised me with the “Iron Yak” 6 years ago. And it looked like this.
I still have nightmares over those wheels and the chrome bumperettes.
We are finishing up a Uber busy but successful year. My son had a great outing in Costa Rica
And my daughter verbally committed to play Beach VB at Austin Peay in Clarksville,TN
Hence the new item on the 250

Well. It’s has again been too long since I have given the Yak some love. Kids keep me busy. Took her out for a spin this morning. My daughter and a teammate ran a 5k. Stopped by a new grocery where they have erected one of the original iterations of a Pensacola Beach sign.
The sign will be repainted and given some neon love soon so I wanted to get a few before it was refurbished.
