We can probably work something out on the Colt, this is a picture of my friends Springfield champion, it was a base model when he bought it so I fitted it for a new trigger and light weight hammer I also modified and fitted the frame for a high rise beaver tail and bobbed his while I was at it. There is also a close up of the bobtail. I also beveled his mag well

Eric - Nice score! Kinda sad that it's such a big deal to find a Glock for under $600, but that's the way things are right now I guess.

Ontharox - Nice work!

Thanks guys for the nice comments, and phrogg4ever IM me and we can try to set up a meet, you don't do any reloading by chance?

I may start again, haven't had the time to get my reloader back in shape. I am missing some parts and cannot find my dies:(

I'll drop you a PM on the .45. Thanks;)

John,

That is a cool little gun. I'm glad they upgraded the P238 and added 9mm option. .380 is just too friggin expensive compared to 9mm. I have shot the P238 and it was a nice shooter and has great ergonomics for those that are familiar with shooting 1911s. I think that may be my next addition for carry also.;) I was originally looking at the P290 as that is a small 9mm carry gun, but having a 1911 pattern will be nice, just depends if I want a DA or SA gun to carry:meh:

How's the Taco running? I found the black grill covers for the lights if you still want them.

I really like it that the 938 is SA. Only thing holding me back is the price tag. Any where from 650-700 here in greenville depending on the model. That price tag is starting to me make me look at other MFG's. Checked out the Kahr CM9, Nano, Solo, LC9, and G26. P938 and Solo were awesome, minus the price tag. I have a few GC's to Academy so it takes the Solo and CM9 out of consideration since they don't carry those brands. Any recommenations on other MFG's to check out?

Covers would be great. PM me a price. Its running great. Just hit 75k.

Picking up a ruger lc9 after work. Trading straight up for something he wants

I think I'll like my Solo for a smaller carry piece if I ever get it. Been on order since October 19. At the rate things are going, I'll have my Milt Sparks holsetr for it before I get the piece.

If I did not have the Solo on order, I'd be looking hard at a 938 myself.

Yeah, the price tag always gets ya. I actually have reverted to carrying my 5-shooter. I have a sweet 3" S&W Model 60-10 in the J-magnum frame. Nice that I can shoot reduced velocity all the way to .357 Magnum all in one package. I may have the moon clip mod done to it one of these days.

I also do carry my G27 with a ClipDraw on it quite often. Compact .40 is nice, and the 9mm would be a good compact carry gun;)

No charge on the covers, I should have included the with the truck. I'll send pics to ya if you want. If we cannot work a MudShip, then maybe send the cost of ParcelPost.

question, and for give my ignorance. What is the advantage of bobbing the 1911?

gotcha. thats what i was thinking

Surprisingly, this is the first hand gun I've ever owned. Can't wait to shoot it. I'm a big fan of the compacts. And this one sure is small...

And some more AR mags this last weekend.

Was in a local shop on Satruday and was surprised to see thay had about 20 Pmags on the shelf in 5.56mm ... but nobody was grabbing them. I soon found out why when I picked one iup to look at it ... $64.99 each

Nice to see prices are still going crazy.

On that note, if anybody sees Pmags in 7.62 at a reasonable price, drop me a line. I still want to get a few for my 716.
