Congrats. I don't think anyone thought Wake would put the same number on all acc at the beginning of the year.

Totally agree about GA. That guy will be playing on Sundays for a long time barring injury.

It was tight for ROY between Skinner and Spiller. Kind of surprised Riley pulled it out.
 
I'm surprised too if spiller has a big bowl game he will set the NCAA all time all purpose yards record for a true freshman. Pretty impressive since he'll be beating people like reggie bush and warrick dunn. Gaines is making the case for a #1 or 2 pick in the draft, he was ranked 4th on mel kipers list coming into the season and he hasnt done anything to hurt that.

I read the offer was 30 mil for 7 yrs plus a 5 mil signing bonus plus the ad job when he retires from coaching if he wanted it. Don't know how true any of that is but that would have made him the highest paid coach in football. Of course if he really thinks he can win a National Championship in Cola like he says then he is dumb enough to turn down that money too.
 
OK fellow football fanatics, I am headed out the JAX here shortly to hopefully go beat up on some Yellow Jackets!!!

If you don't have a preference, root for the Deacs tomorrow at 1. We need all the bandwagon fans / support we can get!!

With the reliable Gundy pessimism and God on our side, hopefully we'll be throwing oranges on the field at Alltel Stadium tomorrow around 4:30!! :D

Those are some nice signs, I'll cheer for the deacs although I'm not sure what the best idea is cause if they go to a bcs and get destroyed makes the acc look bad and I'm still not sure they can beat a team from another power conference and they dont have the firepower for a louisville or wvu.
 
Hey man its hard to get to pumped for WF to play a big time team when you consider their # of 10 win seasons is 2. I mean I think yall can take down GT you have a running game and you can double team CJ the same as we did. But GT doesnt deserve to be considered at the same level as the teams you might be playing.
 
good luck Andy. Hope you have a good trip. Was watching ESPN this morning and Herbstreet said that WF was his surprise of the year. had a lot of good things to say about them.

top surprises per ESPN in no part. order
1: WF
2: Rutgers
3: Miami and FSU both at 6-6

the last one there stings a bit for me. but it was a good season to watch other than that.
 
Congrats Deacs! I like very few things in life more than watching Tech lose. Great game!
