Like the taillights. I had not seen those before.

Sent my Cruiser to Kearney Monday my brother is going to do some work on it while we are in Cancun. He is going to get the roll cage in and some other things done that require a welder. Hopefully he will get the back frame shortened too. Also fix the driveshaft that he broke already. Can't wait to get back and see it.

What's the deal with the drive shafts? They shouldn't break that easy. Just wondering.

Later,

Got a new driveshaft made at a different machine shop and all is good. Got it home from Kearney today, my brother got the roll cage welded together, I just need to finish getting it secured. He also got the extra frame cut off the back so it doesn't look so odd. Few things left to do, have to connect the e-brake, replace the wiper motors, install the front bumper, and finish making it pretty.:D I'm so pumped, drove it home from Kearney (50 miles) tonight and she just purred like a very content kitten.

Will keep you posted on the progress.

Took the Yota to the moutains this last week and had a good time. Had a few issues with the power steering, overheating, and broke the rear driveshaft AGAIN!!

Got a new p/s pump installed today, got the repaired driveshaft put in today. Got the overheating issues managed while in Colorado.

Didn't get any pictures, to busy driving. Anyhow had a good time and the little diesel did everything I asked it to.

transmission cooler from a ford tempo/taurus, etc. fits great for a power steering cooler. find one in a junkyard that had the front bumper ripped off, much easier to pull.

I am so jealous that you are having driveshafts break!!!! Mine does not turn yet -- Ha! Too busy to work out in the shop for another month or so.

Oh the saga continues. We took it wheelin this weekend at Lake Mac in Ogallala. Blew apart a radiator hose connection, and then on the way home the right front caliper siezed, and now the Dana 300 won't stay in low range.

Last night was spent rebuilding the right front hub with new inner bearing and seal, new caliper and pads. I need to get off the computer and get out and get the left side done.

Thanks Erik for the info on the trans cooler. I have an aftermarket one in the garage I just haven't installed it yet. I'm really thinking I might need a regular hydraulic pump with external resevoir. I don't think the one off of the Pontiac Grand Prix is quite handling the amount of pressure that I am running with the p/s and the hydroboost.

I will keep ya posted on the progress and set backs.
