It looks like about 1/2 of my office took the day off... as did my wife and son. Hopefully I'll make it a half day, but that depends on how long the boss stays. ;)

My best friend and his family arrive from Bar Harbor this evening to stay the weekend. It's going to be a full house as they have 3 kids now. Having a ton of folks over Sunday for BBQ.

Should be a busy but great weekend.

Curtailed drinking booze and eating fast food for the past month and lost 15lbs. After the morning I've had I think I'll be back up to my goal weight by Sunday

its the booze part i cant cut out. heck, i ride the mtn bike for an hour into the woods, come across a swimming hole and get handed a beer by a group of women in bikinis laughing at my "tights". i didnt care, the beer was cold and worth the ridicule. my point? you cant escape the booze out there... its so hot every one just drinks!

good for you though... 15 lbs is a lot.

its nice out... i am going to spend the rest of the friday at the hipster/emo coffee shop gawking at people. maybe i will even start a blog...

pictures of the girls in the swimming hole would be better

Never said I quit......I curtailed. went from 1-2 beers a night to 1-2 a week. I have sleep apnea and just having 2 beers now makes me hung over the next day due to not sleeping well cuz of the alcohol.

J: thats awsome. I noticed a big difernce after I quit (well almost) drinking soda. I droped about 10lb in 3 weeks.

What a LONG freeking week. The week before holiday weekends always brings the suck... Everybody wants to talk to me, customers are at their houses, and they all ask for stuff. By fri AM the voice mailbox's are full and I dont want to talk to ANYBODY. Went out last night and had too many margarita's :D

Today its off to the new house and start the death and distruction of the landscape. Got about 15 trees to remove stumps to pull, re grading and some new loam coming in! gota have grass for the wedding in Sep!

I thought it went by pretty quick, but I'd just gotten off of a 5 day weekend!
We went to Portland for 4 days and had a great time. Ate way to much!
Work went well today but now I'm running around like mad. Had to get Ian to
a practice, he was recruited into another band. Then ran some canoes over to a lake for the Scout camping
trip tomorrow. Now I'm trying to find all my gear and get that packed.
Everything else is all set for Sunday!
See some of you then!

In at 3:45...should be out about noon.
North bound.

My wife just took out life insurance on me today. Should I be worried this weekend?

I am headed to poor wallys, where my 40 has been for the last week. He is doing the finish welds on my SOA/SR/blah blah blah (ruffstuff parts are all 9/16th's thick, my little weldpack 120 has no chance of burning that stuff in), and the 60 box install.

Now to get it home tomorrow and start getting it ready for paint.

Spent a few hours last night running to the airport in Manchester to pick up a friend.
She has just returned from Iraq and we have her 3 year old with us. Get there and find out
that her flight is delayed 4 hours so we drive home.
Have a Yoga retreat tonight with an 89 year old instructor, should be great!
BBQ and band concert Saturday night after work, get to hear Ian play some.
Sunday, rototill a friends garden and chores around the house.
Monday, try to get down and look at the 40 for Dave (sorry, ran out of time)
Weeks just aren't long enough!

Blew work off and painted the Blizzard top Cygnus white. Looks AWESOME!!! Like a mini 40! Got the right color blue off the trim tag too. Should be done by next weekend. I love Fridays!!!!

Maybe she got the insurance due to my lead paint dust intake.....

I got out of work early today, pretty easy day. I'm working on the 73 FJ40 this weekend, brakes, wiring, exhaust & fab a few parts; hoping to have it drivable by the the end of this month.
