Mike arriced home yesterday for the summer. Today we rebuilt his front axle. still has a slight vib so drive shaft gets pulled tomorrow. He has a CEL light and the upper oil pan leaks in the back. And then there is a clogged sun roof drain and....

Well after few years out of the game I finally picked up 2010 KTM 530. Street legal from factory. Never been on dirt. 700 miles. Well I broke it in yesterday on some trails. Notice lack of clutch lever. Got away from me on a tough hill climb. So amped!! Back on the trail once again feels soooo good. Going to de red bull the thing too. Prob go all black.. I hate stickers.

Sweet...got my xr400r back up this spring..been on a few 100 mole trail rides with some buddies up here..I'll let you know when the next one is!

Just a motorcycle observation. With Bike week in full swing here in NH I've noticed a huge number
of Moto-Guzzi bikes this week. After Harleys these are #2 on the road. When I first started riding
way back in the 80's Guzzi's were a pretty rare bike to see on the road.

My daughter Rachael is home for the next week and a half. She works at Pixar and with the release of "Inside Out" her name will be listed in the credits for the first time.

Very proud and excited to see that!

Went riding today at the thomastom dam state park. Great trails but challenging. They have a 5or 6 mile loop they run pro hair scramble races there every year. Some trails are very tight. I hit a tree on a tight one and smashed my one legal rear view mirror.. A bit challenging getting used to Ktm 530. Beast. I need to drop a tooth in the front. I was shifting between first and second too much. Crashedd a couple times but ah well. Didn't get hurt. Geared up.
