Just let some air out of the tires.
Do you have enough room to put in a higher door?

Yeah, I think I might have room to open up the doorway. Maybe next summer. My carpenter/electrician/contractor father in law is halfway to Florida for the winter right now. I'd like to get 220v out there at the same time.

someday in the future, but no time soon. I figure if I'm going to do construction on the garage to enlarge the door then I might as well up my power out there as well, put in better lights, shelves, more outlets, etc.

One hell of a week and they are only going to continue. We got word last week that there will be no hiring of new people or replacing people who leave. Well our NJ tech has left and that's brought the suck front and center to me. Monday-Gardner MA, Tuesday-Bay Shore LI, Wednesday-Manhattan, Thursday-Newark NJ. They need a 33% jump in my productivity.

Not to complain, but this stuff beats the hell out of me. It wouldn't be so bad if I actually got to spend the extra cash :frown:

My office is near Gardner. Take Monday off and I'll cover for you.

The Who at the Garden was great last night! Went with my daughter which made it extra special. I find it's real easy to do things with my son but finding that same kind of shared activity with her can be challenging.

Welding class

Hey Lane,
How is the welding class going? Ask your instructor if it is okay to weld in the middle of a brook? jeep shackle mount broke in the middle of a brook and we didnot want to move it so we got out the Ready Welder out and did it right there.

Weekend wheeling

Did three days of wheeling with a few friends. From northern Vermont on friday (with snow) and back down to our area. A lot of beaver ponds, slimey mud and some carnage (not cruiser)

Some days equipment is the best thing going, and other days its not...
today started ok, the usual monday crap one guy calls in sick, the other guy isnt realy up and going good.

But we got a fair amount accomplished on site, prep for walkways, got the driveway jsut about finished and a few things planted. we have been here for a month and this is looking like our last week.

Just about to pack it up at about 2pm when I am backblading the driveway area with the bobcat. I always do this to leave it smooth for the customers/construction guys over night. I see some strange drag marks coming from the underside of the machine as I roll back, and I smell a bit of diesel....
hmmm
look underneath, and I see a 12in piece of 3/8ths rebar sticking out of the inspection hole (about 2in acrosed used to drain the belly pan) and its leaking diesel, just filled it (about 18 gal)
fark, fark, fark. load it up FAST and screw off site so it dosnt make a mess...
call dealer... looks like the plastic gas tank is cheep $120 but it will take 20hr to swap including pulling the motor, main hydro pump, and other junk. all said and done I am looking at 2k+ FAWK!
just what I needed before tax season... and we will be behind on the job... I need a vacation.
