I'm very surprised,
I have been having dizzy issues all winter, old worn out GM HEI replaced with Advance autodizzy today, I had to put the jumper cables on and what do you know, she started right up, I put a timing light on her and she purrs like a,,,,,like a,,,,,well bear comes to mind, But it lives

I had that same problem. the GM dizzy has a slightly different gear on the end of it that sorta matches up with Toyota engines but sorta doesn't. Basically it will grind down again at some point and you'll be back in the same spot a few years from now. I bought one with a toyota gear on the end off eBay and works well.

Glad to see the truck is alive!!

Ya the PO didn't change the gear, It took a bit but I got one and installed it, Now onto the fj60 power steering conversion,,, then the SOA, then cut & turn the knuckles, then a H41 conversion, then,,,,then,,,,Man I better get going,

That's it! I've had it! I'm going flareless! The snow run was the last straw!

2000 Tundra BACK at the dealership today so that Regional/National inspector can look at the failed frame.

I will let you know what happens, but it could take a while. It is a case by case thing. Big thanks to my local toy dealership for helping me out even though I had not receive the letter Toyota was supposed to send out to us. They have been great.

Not sure if it is buyback or a replacement, the dealers don't even know yet.

To be honest, I am happy either way. I love the tundra and will own another.

Toyota just called- they are keeping the truck. It is "unsafe to drive"

They are giving me a rav 4 until they figure out what to do. Shoddy replacement for my tundra, but what the hell.

HOLY SH*T 16" OF SNOW ALREADY. My son and I plow 45 driveways. I started at 3 am and just got done the first round and there is 7" in the one that I started on. And it is basically going to snow til sunday nite... better take a nap

Good news for you plow guys! We got about 4" then rain. It's just a big slushfest
right now. Over in Troy the got over a foot. A little elevation makes a big difference!

Interesting turn of events.... A friend owns a wine import company and his financial backers offered to buy the Wicked Wine label rights from my winery partner. The winery said no (me too) but the import company is still hugely excited about it. We talked it all out and they want someone to create new win brands for them and their 18 state network.

It seems like I'm going to work for them plus keep 50% ownership on the Wicked labels plus I'd get a percentage on any new brands I create. Plus I'd have a base salary. Sounds pretty good and I trust these guys so I think it will happen.

They are based in VT so I'll be heading to Wally's neighborhood often. Look for Mudship opportunities galore.

Hope it works out. Unemployment is fun and boring at the same time.

I don't deserve it but I'll take it. Thanks for the kind words.

I still might have a job offer with a solar energy company to sell solar panel systems to wineries. That one is really interesting.

Went to the MMA fights last night thanks to Alex (SouthBostonfj) hada fantastic time.

I'm not an avid MMA fight fan but I was blown away by how exciting it was! The event was professionally put on like it was in Vegas. ButterBean and plenty of other people were there in the audience. The crowd was very laid back with no drunks, no fights in the stands, and no drama.

The fights were great including a total knockout for one guy in about 20 seconds. That was unbelievable to see in person. Some great fights, 10 in all.

Next event is May 28th or something like that. Definitely going again. Thanks Alex!

flew out of Oahu Hawaii yesterday at 5 pm actually packed my kiteboarding stuff on Kailua beach., which seems to be in the path of the tsunami. I pray for those people a 15 foot wave could provide alot of damage. would have been weird to wake up to the tsunami sirens.
