Well I figured with some time to kill I'd do a little write up. One year ago tomorrow (September 22nd) I flipped my 1989 Toyota pickup I had done a lot of work to. It was almost finished. Was just going to SAS it and put an A340F auto transmission in. Two months later in November I picked up my 1984 Toyota pickup. Man it was ugly. When I bought this truck I bought it because it was a good truck to work on. Solid axle, mostly stock, not to much rust besides the bed. But for the most part not to bad. Stock rims and stock sized tires. First thing I did when I got this truck was flush the radiator for winter and the Power steering for fresh ATF. Then it was pointed out to me I could EFI this truck. Which I did using all the parts from my wrecked 89 truck. After that I slowly saved up some money, doing a timing chain, oil pan gasket, front axle rebuild, new clutch, fly wheel, slave, master and clutch line, 4.56 gears, A 2.5 OME lift to replace the stock springs which could support the flatbed, put an 8274 up front with the 9.5XP motor and single contact. I then built a flatbed which saved me when I rolled this truck a month ago today. Now with the truck up and running again with hopefully all the kinks out I'm grateful to say it is almost done. I just finished bed lining the whole truck which turned out great and now my only plans for the truck is a frame off. I would love to cut the front clip off of the 88 I bought to fix mine so it's straight again and cut the roof off and weld a new one on with no buckle in it along with swapping in A/C and and installing sound deading mat with some carpet. the only things that will be coming up soon is swapping in the 88 rear axle to push the tires out and swapping my 4 KM2's to the original stock rims that will be painted gun metal grey and getting my spare tire mounted on the 5th stock rim I have so I can have 5 matching rims.
