It runs. It's super freaking loud with open shorty headers. Sounds good and healthy. No new leaks or anything weird.
Need to bleed brakes. Then take it to get an exhaust system built ( it's easier for my local shop).
Then some body stuff, paint, and interior.

I do have a short video. The audio is awful due to the open headers and camera proximity. Can't post it directly here so, it ain't gonna happen. Sorry everyone.
I have been chasing some leaks and planning the next move. Might try to paint the door jams and some other spots depending how the weekend goes. I gotta get a helper and bleed the brakes asap too.

Brakes are bled. Fixed another small leak. Pedal feels good. Wheels lock up when pedal depressed. Good so far.

Nothing picture worthy but got more done. Adjusted the neutral safety switch and now the starter functions as it should. This thing fires up instantly with the efi. It's pretty impressive so far.

Started doing some exploratory sanding. There's a few spots I was curious about....a couple cracks and a few spots where it's lifting. The sanding revealed its not that deep and shouldn't be too difficult to repair. I also sanded away some runs in the paint.
I don't plan to strip this down to bare metal due to time and costs.
Plan is to fix any problem areas. Then prime over everything......sand alittle, then paint. Now that it's comfortable outside and not oven like.

Threw some parts at the front end for some super rough mock up. Basically.....just to get the visual. I like it. The fiberglass parts fit like crap though.....no surprise there.

Getting everything covered up. Plan is to sand and some repairs, then spray primer. No more orange.

I am using a Summit Racing brand blue that is close to Acapulco blue.

Got everything all masked off. Still.need to do some sanding and repairs before primer.

Sanding is done.......for now. I did most of this sanding by hand. My arms are tired. There were so many runs in the orange paint. Primer is next. Hopefully sometime over the next days.
I am headed to the Good Guys car show tomorrow with my Dad. Taking the fake 45 pickup.
