Thawing out big bird in 60 hours?

Crap, this should have gone in the fridge at least 24 hours ago.:bang:

20lb bird (I go with the 4.5lbs/24 hour in the fridge).
Any tricks, or toss it back in the freezer, and buy a semi-thawed.

Trust the other cook in the house doesn't always work, looks like another frozen turkey will have to wait for for the next one.

Thaw it in ice cold water.. Change the water every 30 minutes or so to keep the bird temp at 40 or less.. Should take around 8 hours to complete...

John, John, Jim, Dan.....Mi casa es su casa... I found out the :princess: ordered 8- 1.5# to 2# lobsters... I'll have some left overs sounds like :rolleyes:..

But, after a lengthy chat with Dan last night... sashimi appetizers will be made from one of them it sounds like :D
