1996 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80 – Triple Locked, Built & Maintained Asking $13,000

Selling my 1996 FZJ80 Land Cruiser. Factory triple locked, clean, and set up as a very capable trail/overland rig. I have a bunch more photos of the underside and everything else I just can't add all of them on here as it's over 50+ photos. I am happy to answer any questions. Open to Reasonable offers. Asking $13,000

Drivetrain & Suspension

  • Factory triple locked (front, center, rear lockers)
  • 6" Ironman Foam Cell Pro lift
    • New upper & lower control arms
    • Extended panhard bars
  • Chromoly front axles & birfields
  • Routed diff breathers higher for water crossings
  • Bypassed rear heater (less to leak, simplifies the system)

Wheels & Tires

  • 37x12.50R17 Milestar tires
  • 17" Raceline steel beadlock wheels

Brakes, Steering & Engine

  • Front end modified to run 4Runner 11" or 13" calipers & rotors (better braking options)
  • ABS deleted – it was acting up with the 37s, especially in snow, so it’s now a simpler, more reliable non-ABS setup
  • New OEM power steering pump
  • EGR delete with resistor to prevent CEL
  • New starter (within the last year)
  • Routine oil changes kept up
  • Plugs, wires, distributor done about a year ago
  • Axles serviced and new brakes within the last year

Exterior & Interior

  • Safari snorkel
  • Slee Short Bus Front bumper
  • WeatherTech floor mats
  • Homemade rear drawer system – super handy for tools, camping gear, recovery gear, etc.
  • Includes 3rd row seats (currently out but go with the truck)

Extras Included

  • Spare birfields
  • Old OEM axles
  • 3rd row seats as mentioned above
  • And much more seals and small parts.

Known Needs / To-Do List

  • Front double-cardan (DC) driveshaft
  • Oil pump gasket replacement (typical 1FZ seep – not catastrophic, just should be done)
  • Rear sway bar
  • If you want it “perfect” for hard wheeling:
    • Front fenders trimmed or replaced
    • Rock sliders
    • Custom rear bumper
This is a solid, triple-locked 80 with the expensive stuff already done: lift, chromoly front end, brakes, steering, and a lot of fresh maintenance. It’s ready to wheel as-is and just needs a few finishing touches to be a dialed, go-anywhere rig.

Why not just post the pics here? It takes a couple minutes. That site requires an account.
