LOL! No doubt! I popped my "whellin' cherry" in Colorado. I'm anxious to see MIOBI, and wheel without the chance of tumbling off a mountain to my death.
Uh, I came very close to rolling down a cliff at MIOBI my first time there.

The rain has pretty much stayed out of Monroe county from what I've seen, so we should be good, and it's going to be dry tomorrow AM to give it a little time to dry out before the event starts.
I'm leaving the Ozarks around 12:00 tommorow. Should be in Iowa somtime around 5:30 or so. I might have to put my topper on if it's raining. Might do that anyway. Taking tommorow off but Trish works till 12:00 and we have to get the kids out of school before we head up. See ya all there!
I'm going to head down tomorrow afternoon and camp/hang out tomorrow night and Saturday morning. Don't have a truck right now, so I am hoping that someone's got an open seat and maybe I could ride along! I wish I had a truck! Maybe by next year... See everyone there!!!

I'm at my folk's place in Rochester MN for the nite...just finished up a meal that included FRESH picked green beans....FRESH picked tomatoes...FRESH picked broccoli....mmmmm.....

Good Morning !!! Well The 45 and I made it last night 
I rolled into Toyota of Des Moines around 7 pm when I pulled up the sale's folks were as excited as I was and when they asked what I was doing there I told them all I want is a picture of the 45 under there sign I explained I was going to TCCC and just needed a chance to relax before driving out to Knoxville today Check it out They offered to keep the 45 there lock up and protected at the dealership, then one of the salesmen ( Jim ) drove me to a hotel HOW COOL IS THAT !!! Enjoy everyone

No problems but very tired and as I was showing my family my photos there you were and while I was telling my story I had to smile thinking about the cool chick that kept calling me " California Guy " thats such apart of my story and a great memory. Just so you all know my family and I just had one of the most fantastic steaks we have ever had solw cooked pink inside turned once ' did I do that right ? ' My wife is looking over at me smiling and life is good Thanks Time to starty packing for the 45 run IOWA FRIGGIN ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like you did it about right!! Did I hear right - did you get some venison in that cooler? If so, what does the rest of the family think of it?
