This is part #26?!? How does that affect the window mechanism and how is 2'-10" enough when it appears to span the entire window?
Just asking. Mine is good right now but maybe I need to pick this up too.
yep, it is part 26; when that rubber channel goes bad the tailgate window will start to slip out and ends up "hanging" sideways; then you have to beat it down to open it but it just gets worse as after a while the glass will slip totally out of the channel and bind............4 of us got together and got the dies made + a run of 100 Ft; you only need 2 ft 10 inches to do a tailgate channel; we are sending out 3 ft sections so there will be a bit extra....all of us pig owners will be needing the door window channel rubber; some sooner, some later....it is also unavailable and will have to pay for the tool maker to fab the dies for the rubber extrusion; thus the need to put the money back into the kitty; you can PM me your needs on the tailgate rubber...........20$ + 7$ shipping; HTH

.........such great pleasure in small thingsAll gone......except for Uncle Eds and Dusty 66s when paypal clears.........we have gone ahead and sent money to fab the dies for the window regulator channel rubber and for a run of 200 ft; will need aprox. 10 ft for 4 doors ; should have it in in the next 3-4 weeks; cost is going to be around 62.44$ for 4 doors + shipping;

I wanted to check and see if this is indeed all gone?
I would buy 1 if you had an extra sitting around.
Also, what is the status of the window regulator channel rubber?
Last question, does anyone have a line on the vertical window runs for the tailgate glass?
TJS- it is funny but Lou had the source and took the lead and work on a joint project here. Now, sometime back I noted that SOR seemed to making (or having made) the window regulator material. I may have an extra TG regulator pc.
The vertical runs have been sourced since then I think? But 40 pcs will wrap fit ok for them-- they are just a bit short and shallow in the metal run, but they will keep the glass quiet and free of metal contact.
Thanks for the update!
Let me know if you want to sell the extra TG regulator piece.
