Tail light issues

Recently I bought a 91 sr5. I got it dirt cheap so I didn't look it over that well. Now I'm wishing I did. The driver side tail light assembly is basically gone. There are just a bunch of cut wires coming out of where the tail light goes. Nothing at all to plug into. I have tried about a thousand different places looking for the part and no one seems to have it or they want me to buy the entire wire set up all the way from the front to the back for crazy amounts of money. I bought a new tail light and all the bulbs I need, but I have nothing to plug it into. Does anyone know of a place that might sell the part, or maybe a way I can rig it up to not get me pulled over every time I drive the damn thing? I can provide pics if I am being unclear. Do you have a u-pull in your area? As I recall that section of harness plugs in next to the driver's side seat, and runs back to the lights.
