Not to add to your unobtanium list, but do you have the bows that hold the headliner up in between the roof supports? And there is a 1/8" rod that goes in he tabs on the back side of the roof supports as well.

I figure it's better to know now rather than later, even if it does add to the list! I have the rods that go on back side of roof supports, but not the ones between. Thanks for the heads up.

You know Don before this thread I'd never seen the the rubber insert for the jack. I think maybe I might need a paper pattern of yours to cut one out of 1/8" diamond plate neoprene. :D That was a very cool and extremely rare gift. I am enjoying following your build.

I can definitely provide a pattern Gene! Worked on the mat a bit this weekend, mostly cleaning and gluing a few tears back together. I've ordered some supplies needed to replace the small missing piece and soften all the rubber so its around for another 50 years. Very cool piece indeed.

Wrapping up the last of the metal, approaching blast and epoxy.

I agree with Tancruiser; 3M Self-Leveling Seam Sealer (part#: 08307) works great. Primer any bare metal first, then scuff/sand the primer, and finally apply the seam sealer. That way it will look great and last a long time.

Any chance you might be willing and able to post a few pics specifically of the rotisserie you guys are using? I'm just starting to build mine and I've been squinting at the screen at all the little details I can pick up on. A couple of "full-ons" and side views would be much appreciated!

Glad to get some pics of the rotisserie for you, but that will be Monday with the shop now closed. The rotisserie is the second that I've bought from a company called Whirly Jig in TN. Top of the line product! They have three different versions - economy, standard and pro - and a few options to increase mobility. Everything about it is well designed with an eye toward longevity. Be prepared for it to take 4 to 6 weeks as all of them are hand built by the father and son owners. The shop where my LV is being worked on was so impressed they bought one and love it. They've got a website with pics and pricing. Let me know if you still want pics of mine.
