You're probably right Ken but you seem to be getting quite a bit of enjoyment out of your LV. I still have all the pictures you sent me and your LV has the same "opportunities" for metal work as mine .

With the help of several MUD members I was able to confirm that the engine compartment, firewall and underside of my LV were all painted black at factory. Was the underside of the hood also painted black? Any help appreciated.

Yes. Bottom of hood was black too.

I have a question about the roof seams - were they filled with lead? The reason I ask is because there were no remnants of lead found in the roof seams, but lead was found in all the other body seams. Stands to reason lead would have been used everywhere. One explanation is that the roof was previously blasted and the lead came off then. Any input appreciated.
