What/Where is GATOR 2009?

GATOR 2009 is the Great American Toyota Offroad Rally which will be held at SMORR in Seymour, MO - not too far from Flat Nasty.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the BCS game last night.

With my new part time job, I'm working Saturday's. So, I won't be able to make the meeting this year. Glad to have you on board for the GATOR event, we should have registration opened up in the next week or so. It's going to be a blast!

We are really hoping to have over 150 rigs at this event, and lot's of family oriented activities for kids of all ages, 0-100...so stay tuned.

We need to put together an agenda for the meeting. Nothing new from previous years, but here are a few topics to get ya'll thinking.

• Adoption of minutes from 2007 annual meeting
• Election of officers
• Calendar of events for 2009: TLCA (Moab / Roundup / Ramble), Regional (Krawl / Frostbite), TAC (Weekend at Ashers / Tuttle / KS Rocks / Little Sahara / FN)
• Discuss upcoming GATOR 2009 event and our participation.

Please add items you want to discuss, such as merchandise, logos, other club events.

Also, in the past I sent out reminder cards to all current members from 2008 and those who lapsed in 2007. Andrew / Peggy / Rob - I believe I included the Publisher file of the reminders sent in the past with the other files. Also, the database has a mailing label report for printing the labels out. Would it be possible to get one put together and out before the end of the month?

In the past we had calendars - originally we bulk-purchased Henry Brimmer's and then for 2 or 3 years Gary Hill assembled one using Shutterfly. Both were nice and I'd like to resume that in 2009 as well.

Maybe we could throw in with Rigid Tool and make a calendar....

WE should probably have a treasurer's report. I will look at the disk you gave me Chris, and see what I can do. Hopefully Rob can help as I have never done anything like this on my computor. I would need the membership roster from Andrew also.

Can we pay our yearly dues at the meeting? I have had my application filled out for about 4 months now just havn't had time to sit down and put it in a envelope and write out a check.

No problem - that is when dues are typically taken care of.
