From the guys that have ordered from MSC, is it better to reach Chris via phone? I emailed him last week but haven't heard back from him. Didn't know if he was on vacation or if calling him was the best way to get a hold of him.

Chris was out of the office a good part of last week. I talked to him this morning and he said he'd contact you asap.

BTW, if any of you run Mobil oil filters I buy mine from MSC for $8-$9 each. I've never found them elsewhere for less than $12.99.

Those safety glasses are great that you recommended. Best one's I have ever had on. And for under $2 each, even better.

For those of you that want to try... msc 86909546

Thanks!

Chris did get a hold of me, and the prices are great. Safety glasses are one thing I was going to order as well. Do you have any problems with those fogging over? Thats my biggest complaint is I always end up with foggy glasses.

No problems with fogging. The only time they fogged is when I had them on inside of a sandblasting mask, and it really was not that bad. At under 2 bucks I did not expect much, and they are much better than my 10 buck dewalt glasses. I also like that the part that goes over your ears is oakly style -- straight back, without the little kickout. That way I can wear ear protection without getting those sides pressed into my head.

They are extremely close to your face, and I have had 3 foreign objects removed from my eyes in the past years -- they are like magnets -- anyway, I really like these.

x2. the only time I've had them fog at work is while working in a production bay during a washout (think enclosed room with hot water washdown hoses and power washers). For general use they don't fog up on me.

If I changed jobs where I was required to wear safety glasses and had no control over the purchasing, I'd spend my own money to buy these rather than wear the ones provided.
