Whats wrong with the old way of making a fire, let it burn down to coals, and then cooking with no smoke in your eyes.

I like Swedish knifes, but this one they should perfect a little bit better...
 
I used one for the first time Saturday. Worked better than I thought. Cooked Brats with the wives kitchen frying pan and they turned out great. It is hard to regulate heat.... but did the job. Burned for about 2 hours. We used ponderosa pine. Will do it again. Tip: to get it lit, we used newspaper rolled up & tucked down in to cuts < did not work. Second attempt...sprayed wd-40 on newspaper and tucked down into cuts < worked very well. :)
 
Got one of these for christmas. Can't wait to use it!! it's a miti-001. Made by a company in Canada.

This way you can use an axe to make a pseudo swedish-fire torch without the need for a chainsaw.
