A pic of a recent camping trip to Baker Lake Washington to try out the new SUV tent. I bought it from 450Landcruiser but a quick google search looks like you can get them from tentsontrucks.com. Quick and easy setup with a zippered rain fly and mosquito netting. With the tailgate down, there's plenty of room for two adults (who like each other) to stretch out. A tent pole was supplied to go along the top but it was such a snug fit, I didn't need them. A narrower SUV would though. The elastic band around the body was also a snug fit and kept out the swarms of mosquitoes. It'd be great in the rain. The only drawback was having to move out all the rest of the camping gear to the front seat or under/on top to make room for sleeping. Also, with only one end open and with the windows up to keep bugs out, ventilation is not as good as a regular tent. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I upgrade to a rooftop tent.
