I'm going in the Sunday before from Tahoe side, wheel the trail backwards to Loon Lake, join up with the Double Locker run, then wheel back to Rubicon Springs. Spending a week on the trail. Thats the plan anyway...

So nope, I'm not on the Wagon Run, but yep you'll likely see me somewhere. Probably Wednesday morning on your way in. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Every year I get really sad that I am 2500 miles away from this event. I was only able to go 1 year (2006) for one night (Sat.) and had one hell of a time. I am actually pretty pissed right now that it had to get brought up in JULY ! Now I will be thinking about it at least until December and will be very jealous the whole time. I do plan on flying out there one of these years and bumming a ride with one of the SoCal 80's crew up there!

next year with gas at 8 bucks a gallon , the airlines will charge about 700 bucks for a ticket to LAX.
