Found them. Rather, they found me. I had the table and the place was packed. Beno bought and we sucked up the suds. Ate, drank, watched historical moments on theTV, watched chicks in short skirts and gorgeous waitresses built like Studebakers (inside joke). Good times. Good times I'll tell my grandchildren about.
And, (such a coincidence only happens at Surf&turf time of year) Jeff from Davis happens to be sitting at the table next to us. Overhears our SnT conversation and comes over to talk. Spends the rest of the evening talking technical 80 stuff to Beno and CruiserDrew...me & SurfPig is lost, so we drink more beer. Neither of us drove, poor Cruiserdrew gets to watch us drink more beer. Good times. Surf & Turf weekend gets off to an early start in Midtown Sacramento. Carry on.
