Okay, the first of what I'm sure will be a series of questions as I get prepared for this.

I assume that to have some fun while in the area I'll need to bring my 33" TSLs? I'm going to drive down on OE size BFG ATs so I'm not deaf and broke by the time I get there.

I'm thinking that aired down OE sized bfg at's might outperfrom the TSL's. Mud terrains dig instead of float. You want float on the sand.

ATs would probably do you well on the sand. They won't dig in as much as the TSLs.

Just air them down the ATs will be just fine at 10lbs.

Just to clarify, they are 235/75R15s (skateboard wheels).... not much footprint to them.

amazing, sorryt to hear that...in 1992 I had a volkswagon GTI. The clutch went out on the way to work and I had to leave it there overnight. Cops called in the morning. Windows were all broken out with rocks and a big one got thrown on the hood. Then they threw empty beer bottles in the car. Cop actually asked me if me and my friends got drunk the night before and beat my car up for the insurance money. What a dick.

Thanks, I got plenty of spare glass (as long as the asshats don't come back and break my cargo windows) I've been hoarding. It was only the passenger side. They broke in and removed a roll or toilet paper from my console, but left a packed toolbox. The rock took a chunk out of the steering wheel also.

Must be what I get for landscaping with local river rocks. Next time I'll try sand.

Everything in desert up there is landscaped with river rocks and sand..........
