Seriously, it's awesome, Cruisers solid for at least a half mile on the beach and everyone camping and cooking with fires. Remember your first time at Disneyland as a kid and pointing and saying "OOH! LOOK!" so much your finger hurt and you were hoarse? It's like that but for grown ups.

As for the Sand Chef, just go for it. If you can cook a grilled cheese you have the prerequisites covered. Grab two other hungry dudes, go to the store, buy the ingredient and whatever lands in the cart on the way to check out will work.

My partner the first time can't cook toast, and we got second.
Thank god my wife carried us..but that's another story.

it's all about the comedy and wise cracks and making some good grub and memories to share with friends.
