The previous owner of my‘93 (front discs, rear drum) had removed the LSPV system. (Im not sure what exactly has been left behind). I have done a 4” spring + 2” body lift.

Replaced the master cylinder, But my brakes are still super soft. If i try and source the parts to reconstruct the LSPV system, will that improve brakes ?

80 series brakes are not great even when working decent. Bleeding is a chore at best. I deleted my ABS and LSPV and did the Torfab ibooster mod. It’s fantastic. Like a new vehicle. I can lock the wheels up easy!

First things first have the brakes always felt bad?
( 2 ) how does your e-brake feel? If it’s sloppy or non existent it’s likely your rear shoes are way out of adjust. A quick simple way to know if your shoes are out of adjustment is to slap the brake pedal quickly 3-4 times and then hold down on the pedal if it feels better on the last pump you’re likely way out of adjustment and that will cause a soft pedal no doubt. Auto adjusters on 90’s anything are nonexistent on drums usually and sometimes someone down the road may have done something stupid. Have the brakes ever really stopped good since you’ve owned it?
