I knew it was pesky heater hose, but which hose in my drawing is it?

It's the small hose at the rear of the block. 87245A on your drawing. I just replaced mine, pesky yes, difficult, not very much.

There is also another hose to a nipple that is at a bit higher and to the left of the PHH nipple. That other hose goes to the the throttle body.

I'd suggest it is well worth checking/changing that when the PHH is changed.

Clay, if you have not already done it, I HIGHLY recommend replacing the heater control valve. We are seeing them die on the majority of the 80s we work on.
