Stock steel rims on 33x10.5x15

Any one running these... BFG MK2 Thinking about pulling the trigger on them but discount tire won't mount them up. Thoughts?

You will need to go to a local shop. The big boys have "safety" requirements and those do not meet their requirements. I went to a local shop and he said if I knew they would work he would do it. I said I've seen many with them mounted up so go for it! No problems to date.

Most of the "techs" in those chain tire stores should not be allowed to put air in a tire- forget about mounting them.

4WD Parts in Tacoma had no problem with my BFG AT's 33 10.50 15. Picture because it's such a cool picture.

33x10.5 work great on the 5.5" oem wheels, I run them on a 40 and 45....soon to be one the 45lv. Also run the on my fj60 but on 8" wheels.

Yep. I run them no problem. I don't think I had a problem with Discount Tire mounting them either. That said, it was a few years ago.

I run them too. The 10.5s look correct on the 5.5" wide rim. Any wider and the tires start to ballon and the sidewalks round out and don't look right, IMO.
