I bought a 77 Pig for parts and it has a stock Air Cond. Of course does not work and I have not done a lot of investigating to see why. All the parts are here. How hard is it to get these going? I am not too mechanically inclined, but am learning.

I am thinking of parting it out or re selling it also. There are only some things that I can use on my 72 pigg.

It runs great, but the body is beat to sh#t.

Are the front door inner trim panels there and without speaker holes or large tears? If so they are probably the ones I'm looking for.

If you decide to sell the interior A/C unit I might know someone who is interested.

I thought of you when I saw this rig CG. The panels are intact and in great shape....but all four have speakers in them!!!

Mystery Knob

Anyone know what this knob is for?:meh:

So the PO had it put in at the dealership then I suppose. And it is worthless....Maybe I can add it to my coffee machine switch that you recommended for the rear heater of my 72 TH....Thanks for the input. Candid as usual.

Not worthless by any means. It's just not a item that was installed at the factor. It could certainly be a dealer installed item.

Anything put on a 55 is collectible and valuable.

I still collect dealer installed a/c units for 40's.

AC

Here's what the Nippon Denso AC looks like. I'm pretty sure all the AC's were actually put in at the ports or by the Dealers. The real deal "Factory" were Nippon Denso units. There was a company called "Factory Air" it was a lower cost unit that some Dealers used. I think yours is the one called "Factory Air"

Bob, yours is the older setup which is thought to be installed at the port, mine is the newer one possibly installed on the assembly line.

It's the a/c temp control in my '74.
