Hey guys,
I heard some talk about having a new club sticker made up at a meeting a little while back. So I took it upon myself to draw up some simple concepts for a couple stickers

I'm open to suggestions, whether it be the shape of the sticker, what it says, different features it incorporates, size....all that good stuff

Here are a couple I came up with so far

for anyone wondering, I chose a 40 series simply due to it's iconic look. I think it would be beneficial to have one sticker for the club (like a logo). I can always draw up a concept for a different series, but for now the 40 will be the one i will design around

I like the second one too. I do like cruiserpilot's idea of tweaking the 40 picture a bit. Nice work Lauchlan!

I found that when it comes to a logo, the simpler the better
Make it simple enough that it looks good (even when really small), but gets the point across clearly
I can tweak it a bit, but in the great scheme of things I think it would be better simpler
Maybe find a happy medium

Remember that it's a sticker, imagine if the shirt was shrunk down to a 4inch image, the definitions may not be as clear

@franken60 I really dig the first one's concept. Quick, simple and to the point. Only downside is that imho its lacking in the detail area (overall design looks too rough-blocked, could use some refinement/more detail)

The idea of having Vancouver Island on the sticker is awesome! Perhaps a second sticker of a side profile of a 40 series crawling up the island? (from Vic to Port Hardy)

Just my 2c :cookie:

lines will become smooth in the sticker making program...so no worries there

also good idea jordan, I'll try one out tomorrow

I like a combo of first two...black truck on an outline of v.i. Maybe a bit more body to the 40 outline.

I probably have a few of our old ones around somewhere. There was a canadian flag on it as I recall...

Trouble with anything red on a sticker, is it ends up pink in a few months.

I agree with Ryan,. plain dark Black lettering on clean White back drop traditional never goes out of style. Here are a few examples for reference1406146118_large.webp Thumb_USAF_1017.webp 2bb706e651b538c6f920f03be5c60566.webp ISISHuntingClubSubWeb.webp .
Always partial to OD Green and Black too...just my 2 cents

I have some leftover stock of the old ones I can send to some one if they PM me their address... The ones Crusty had made up are still red on my truck 7 years later.

Here are the Final Sticker designs I made up. Last meet we had a sheet go around where everyone could cast their Vote. For those Members who didnt get to vote at the meeting, Vote in a comment on this thread (1, 2, 3 or 4)

My vote first basic one, never really like the view of the island, always looks like a turd?
