Steering wheel shimmy

Wouldn't a wheel out of balance cause an increasing vibe at speed whether the brakes were applied or not?

if your getting some pedal vibration and it's not being felt in the steering wheel I'd check the rear rotors. It's not uncommon for the parking brake to seize on these trucks and then overheat the rotor and have it warp. I had this happen on my truck.

Garnet paper is cheap woodworking stuff from the hardware store. I am far too lazy for vigorous scrubbing, so my choice is a good smokey bed-in.

Yes landtank is correct on that one, I had the same problem, pulsing on the pedal, changed the fronts, still there, changed rear rotor that had the parking brake sieze and it went.
I didnt realise at the time when I changed the front rotors that you had to bed them in!!!! I didnt, now my front rotors are well warped, steering wheel goes mad when I brake, will change them as soon as weather gets a bit better.

The set of rotors that I have are for a diesel 80 the same year 1996, I hope they are going to fit
