Steering wheel ID?!

Exactly what I just bought. Later style wheel, not sure of the cut off from the earlier wheel. Doesn't the 40 use this wheel? can't remember.

Looks exactly like the one I pulled out of my '73-'74 Pig. Replaced it with a smaller mini-truck wheel when I converted to power steering.

The two I have both came from 40s of some sort.

Looks like a 75-80 40/55 steering wheel. This design was used from 73 in the FJ40 and a few years earlier in the FJ55 but with a orange center button.

Your saying there was an orange "T" in early 55s?

Yep, my 70 has the orange circle with a silver T. Or faded red not sure how close to original mine is.
