Steering gear to fit my LHD LJ70 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I searched the forum to find out what typ of steering gear to fit my LC.
I have a LJ71 and doing a RHD/LHD conversion and my LHD steeering gear is a little to worn.
My LHD steering gear is from an old 1985 LJ70 and if I understand it right there´s no need to rebuild them.


Can I use the the steering gear from the 80 series or do I have to find a gear from another lj/kzj series?

I don´t think spare parts are available for a unit that old.

They had parts for my '88 steering box. The BJ74 had a longer production run maybe.
