Your best bet is to get the Old Man Emu one. Even Cdan doesn't do the OEM stabilizer.

You should do a search on this subject...

But anyhu, I'm going to try to find the best price on a Fox Steering Dampner, as from a previous post, this seems to be a great alternative to the OME & OEM options.

You have it backwards. CDAN = OEM, Old Man Emu = OME

n he's saying...

He's saying that Dan don't run OEM on his truck I believe...when it comes to the dampener that is...

No, actually Cary, he DID have it right! CDan doesn't do the OEM steering stablizer because it is TOO Expensive!!
So he recommends OldManEmu!

Really happy with them for lifts and larger tyres, and strong as, had my front panhard rod fall off recently, and the steering damper was locating the diff, with the steering arm and panhard rod hitting it for afew km offroad, and it lived with barely a scratch.

Thanks for the reply guys.

What is Old Man Emu? Where are they? Found some Sky Jacker(sp) and Ranchos but only in dual setups. Not what I want. Will the Old man Emu fit stock or do I need to mod for fit. The truck is at the wrench now so I need it yesterday. Whats so good about the OME vs stock. I have no idea, anyone. Never been crazy about stock shocks on any vehicles.

Yikes!

I called the folks that ATS4X4dotcom told me about, that make the adapter that is needed for the Fox Shox Stabilizer that is shown in the photo above, and together with the Stabilizer the price was $475!! (Koreperformance.com)

ATS4x4dotcom, I cannot believe that you guys Down-Under are paying this kind of loot for a stabilizer, are you? WOW!!

I'll stick with the cheap stuff, in this case Old Man Emu!

Rob

OME Stabilizer

Even if.. 475.00 AUD Australia Dollars = 353.232 USD
United States Dollars...

I listened to you folks and went with OME!!

IH8MUD.com ROCKS!
