I had an issue on a rebuild with an improper ground to the starter frame that fried a bunch of wires in my harness. Thanks to Coolerman I was able to identify the problem. I wanted to share in the hopes that others could avoid the same issue. Many thanks to Coolerman for his help and for having the right wire so I could fix my mistake. The first photos are the fried wire I found inside my harness and at the fuse block. The second one is the new ground with #2 gauge cable to fix the problem.

Hopefully others will be able to avoid the problem. Happy Wheeling.

For those that may not understand what happened here. He was missing the main ground from the frame to the Starter/Engine. When he turned the key to start the truck the starter tried to pull massive amounts of current through the alternator/regulator/headlight grounds. That of course melted those small 18ga wires instantly! So before starting up your truck, check that the starter/engine to frame ground is in place.
