Could be the lower spherical bearings that connect to the LCA. Mine went out around 30k of use and, to quote another MUD member, sounded like I had a dozen styrofoam coolers in the back all rubbing and squeaking. YMMV but how many miles are on the setup?
20k. It sounds like it's coming from the rear. I went and washed the car to rule out some gravel or dirt and the squeaking is no virtually gone.

Drained/filled my front/rear differentials tonight. In both cases when I unscrewed the fill plug I heard air escaping. I'm assuming my diff breathers are clogged? Is this common on the 200?
Tacomas' diff breathers are one-way valves, where air escapes through the breather when hot, but the breather does not let air back into the diffs when they cool off. A lot of tacoma guys replace the stock breather with a different toyota part number and raise the breather location higher up on the chassis (usually in the rear tail light cavity or fuel fill area.

The LC 200 may be the same way and you might actually be hearing air getting sucked into the the diffs versus air going out when you crack open the fill plug.

If you are curious, you can remove the breather and try to blow into and suck on the end of the breather and confirm if it is a one-way valve.

could someone please tell where is the OEM 110volt inverter located?

@CharlieS @TeCKis300 have you or anyone swapped over a higher rated inverter from the tacoma or 4runner to the 200 series? Curious if its an easy upgrade. Would be nice to have more then the measly 100w factory inverter in the back.

If i remember correctly, the stock wiring to the factory inverter is hindering an upgrade.

I looked into a swap from a 4Runner or Tacoma, but when I started pricing out the parts, they seemed unnecessarily expensive. I realized that I don't actually have much use for an inverter. I'm sure it could be done, but my suspicion is that you can probably get better bang for your buck with an aftermarket solution.

I have added a 2000Watt Renogy pure sign. I was asking where the oem box was as I'm looking for a spot for a radio.

The OEM box is as pictured above, the large silver box at the lower rear at the left hand side of the cargo area behind the cargo side trim panel.

Thanks .. good picture you took there.

I remember is was a pain getting in there for the ARB bumper light connection as I had already installed cargo boxes.

How many crossbars, either OEM or aftermarket, can I install on my 2017 LX with the low profile rails?

Researching what I can do instead of a full rack so I don't have to drop the headliner.

Thanks

Amazes me how little sound deadening material is used in the LC200.
However, the stock muffler setup quiets the engine down to where I have to open a window or sunroof to hear it.

Does the center section of the second row seats latch or have something from preventing it from flopping down?

I've noticed that the one on my '16 doesn't stay up by itself (like will flop down when braking hard), but I don't remember if it did on the '13 I previously had.

This is truly a stupid question, but I tried googling and searching here and couldn't find an answer.

I hope the answer is that it is supposed to latch in the vertical position, so then I can ask another stupid question about how to fix it. :)

The second-row center seat in my 2008 latches in the upright position. It is released by a tether that sticks out of the seat back near the hinge. (seen in photo below). The photo is of a 2013 second row seat snagged from ebay.

Do you have seat covers or anything that might be preventing it from fully latching in the upright position?

Thank you.

I do not have any seat covers or anything on the seat.

I have a release lever (that looks a little different) that releases the entire center section to fold down to create a pass through to the cargo area.

I guess I should rephrase my stupid question - it is only the armrest portion that doesn't latch in an upright and locked position on this particular '16 land cruiser.

I'm not sure how to figure out if it is "working as designed" or broken.

Even with a few hard stops, my ‘16 hasn’t had an issue with the middle armrest coming down. My seats are reclined a little bit more however. Perhaps that’s enough to prevent the flopping?
