GA tagged 60 next door to us on Lookout Mtn in NE AL. If the owner sees this, my apologies for my obnoxious dogs

Spotted in my driveway :)

Bought this for my 15-year-old daughter for Christmas. 2012 4Runner

Looks like in “Fall Guy” they crashed an IFS 100 for the final jump scene. Rear driveshaft isn’t even real- just a piece of tube lol. No spindles on it either (see UBJs and LBJs).

Love to see it. Watched this with my wife the other night

That's awesome!!! What are your plans?

I will be following orders from my bride. No plans from me, I get to be the gopher that does as instructed.

The FZJ70 is a cream puff and she wants it that way. She loves driving vehicles equipped with manual transmissions but she is uncomfortable with the road manners of a lifted Cruiser. Her current list of approved updates are

  • New stereo
  • Decals (*none of the Toyota decals in the mid east market passed her approval, so it will probably get some custom decals/wrap accents)
  • Atlanta traffic protection (i.e., front/rear bumpers and sliders to enable using the crumple zones of others first)

Already have new wheel rims and tires. (Staying with the split rims did not make sense.)
The suspension is ready for update, but that is tbd until we have more miles on the truck so my bride can assess what she feels is needed.
After that, I will see may strike her fancy. I am still excited to have this FZJ70 in the family and my bride driving a Cruiser again. The FZJ80 used to be her daily driver; but when she learned to drive with a manual tranny, the 80 got pushed aside for a BMW with a manual (& now an Audi).

Couple of vintage in town Toyotas seen on the Grady fun run this morning

Did a double take passing this guy leaving Home Depot in Tucker. Had a good chat, both 1979 trucks...I'm on the right.
