Speedometer/Odometer issue, thought it was anold yellow box calibrator but it's actually Superlift Truspeed.

If you are moving the truck to California, just upgrade to 37" tires. With 4.88 gears, your stock speedo will be spot on and you will want 37's to run the trails in the Sierra's anyway.

Sorry, I'm no help at all...
It's not off by like 5 or even 15mph, it's showing the speedo pegged at like 30-40mph. 37's might be in the future once I get through all the maintenance stuff I want to do first.

on the plus side, you must be getting around 50mpg

when pulling out the unit there are 4 wires. 1 tapped to ground, another tapped to 12v. These wires will be soldered to another wire in a T fashion. They can be cut off at the T and then wrapped in electrical tape.

The last 2 are spliced on to wires with the same color code. Cut off the 2 wires from the superlift box and then connect the wires of the same color code together. You are now back to stock.

@landtank the yellow is output, the black is negative, the green is input, and the red is positive. You can also see an extra yellow plug zip tied to the end. I also included a photo of deep into the glove box where I can see all four wires of the same color of the wires coming out of the unit. Just trying to understand where and what to cut based on what I’m seeing.

That zip tied plug is a jumper. I forgot that I made that. Using that will complete the circuit and if the box is the problem the Speedo will work un-corrected
The looped piece fixed the problem, now it’s working. Thanks again.
