Yes...I have removed a couple of these from my BJ74 as well as Greg B's. Look under your dash, tucked up towards the side of the steering column closest to the middle console (therefore away from the door). Look for a small black box similar in size to a relay, with two wires connected to it going into a harness. It is mounted onto a bracket and secured with one screw. You will notice that one end of this box will have small openings for a buzzer.
The buzzer is activated when your speedometer reaches between 100-105 kmh. Just disconnect the harness and remove the unit...no more annoying buzzing! Cheers.
