not saying it wouldnt look frickin sweet to have a tire on the roof, but...i just think it should be for serious trail riding / expeditions and not for well, going to the mall, lol.

1 underneath, 2 on the back and 1 on the roof, you can carry a whole extra set of tires!

1loudLx,

That looks like a Kaymar rear bumper. According to the Man-a-fre web site http://www.man-a-fre.com/ the dual tiire set-up is only available for the 80 series.

If we could get it, that would be a nice option. Getting a 285 size truck tire on and off the roof is not my idea of fun. Maybe I just need to wheel with other 100's with 16 inch wheels. Redundency in parts and all that.

We are waiting for pictures Macneill. :bounce:

I would not mount a tire to the roofrack with straps. AO has a tire holder, but I am not keen on it. The AO rack allows for things to be bolted down pretty easy. I would make a tire holder to accomplish this.

Whatcha doin' in the 100 forum? You have a new tire holder coming out? :D :D

Why do you want the tire up top instead of underneath? On the 100 the ground clearnace is decent. I ran that way along time....though without a hitch (35").

I have the kaymar on my 100, it came with two spindles, I'm just using the right one for now, You can set it up for spare one side can carrier other side vise versa. Its a good solid bumper, my only complaint is with the hold open. Its a bit weak.

I agree, I think christo hides his clients from mud. he doesn't want them to try and fix it. I don't blame him, some of the stuff my mechanic has had to fix... I felt for the guy. LOL

But really we should get him to put some of his best work into the Rig of the Month. I am sure he would sell more and we would all salivate. New Bumpers anyone.

Sorry for the hijack.
