Look for the white Hummer for some special refreshing soco and lime drinks.:D

Look for it? It's gonna stick out like a sore thumb:grinpimp:

Yeah, sorry, I'm harmless... I'm used to being the only Cruiser at these lower Alabama/Georgia events...

Kids

It sounds like the kids at this event are going to get real educated this weekend.

I'm ready to go.

I've talked to a few folks and they said we might want to hit the 160 loop on Friday and progress to harder stuff on Saturday. I want to be able to ride Saturday, so I may not get into anything real rough.

But, about beer-thirty Saturday afternoon, it will probably be on!!!!!!!!!!

Depending on how much it rains today, everything may be real slick.

And the broken axle shaft! :D

Sorry, it's starting a little early.

Highly likely. Mine is over 4 years old, has been to Tellico and Moab and all points in between. Doesn't have a panel that's not bent/dented/scratched but I have yet to break, mechanically. Everytime we go back out it's like playing the lotto.

I buy at least one more extra spare part before each ride, trying to hedge my bets.:frown:

Plus, I'm towing a Heep.... I mean Jeep;) over there and back on top of wheeling.

Are you kidding me?! I just checked and it will most likely rain tomorrow evening there.... Of course they say that now since it's been going to be a great weekend weatehrwise until now:mad:

I've only been there once, a couple of months ago. But everything was like powder. All the rocks were coated with it. A little bit of rain to settle the dust and get the rocks a little sticky wouldn't be a bad thing IMO as dry as it has been.

As far as tomorrow night...... there is a little pavillion where you can work on your chit for the tent pitchers to have a dry place to roll out the tents.:D

works for me...bringing my tarps :)

Now Paragon you have really gone and done it now... You have jinxed yourself for sure now.

As far as the rain is concerned, when those rocks get wet they get slick. It could make for an interesting time if that happens. But with that said most all of the trails drain really well so if it does not rain too much it should be okay by Saturday.;)

FYI we have some very simple maps for the ride. It will at least give you an idea of where stuf is, with trail rateings. Big thanks to Speeding (admin on the gray rock site) for hooking us up.

Maps will be in your registraion packets.

I don't have any GPS info for the park.

Anything new on campfires? Lower 40's and no fire just isn't right-that's a camping injustice!

Clutch Master Cylinder

My clutch master cylinder (1976 FJ40) is leaking (slowly) but it's losing fluid. I just noticed it was low, but I can't see where it's going. It has a new slave cylinder.

I've called around and nobody can have one here until Friday. Anybody got a spare, just in case? Or know of where I can snag a rebuild kit or entire new master cylinder?

Give me a call if you have any ideas. I'll keep looking up this way. I have to work tonight so I'll have all day tomorrow. I may try and put on a new (chevy) master cylinder and make it work.

Thanks, JR

Anyone bringing a tap and die set? I need to re-thread a shock stud with a
12x1.25 die. I don't need the shock for the ride, I just can't find that particular die around here, including buying a whole set.

ANYBODY GETTIN FIRED UP ABOUT THIS WEEKEND????

CAN'T BELIEVE CRUISER CRAWL IS FINALLY HERE!!!

CHRIS

I am buying all the canned beer I can get my hands on :)
