Hey All,

I'm fairly new around here. Just wondering if there is a recommended/preferred source for FZJ-80 parts that forum members go to. Looks like the man to know used to be CruiserDan. I contacted him, but, sadly for us, after some 37 years in the parts biz, he's moved on to better things (like retirement, I believe).

I'm going to be doing pads, rotors, and the axle/knuckle rebuild in the near future and would like to get my parts from someone that knows what he's/she's doing, if possible.

Any references are much appreciated!

I have always had good luck using Beno! He's a great source for parts and information.

Just got off the phone with @beno to order more parts. He has everything Toyota. Now aftermarket or getting things that are top notch, any of the vendors above. I have used Cruiser Outfitters while @beno was moving to the WRONG COAST.

Being from one of the original colonies of Virginia, you may not have gotten word yet that the country has expanded quite a bit and Colorado is no longer on the coast. There is quite a bit of new territory to the west of there that is ripe for settlement and exploration. ;)

I have heard tales of this so called territory. I call bunk! The world is flat! It falls off west of the Mississippi River! These massive mountains and valleys you speak of do not exist. Onur lives in the talkie box you call a phone and he sends me good will in the form of belts, hoses, regulators, and beer cozies. Prove me wrong with spectacular pictures so I can show the womanfolk the grandeur. May hap we will see these places with our own eyes one day once the children have moved on.

Great, now I have coffee all over my keyboard. Thanks for the laugh!

Whilst thou has been snarfing, I have been busying myself with the butter churn.

Oh crap, now I'm crying from belly laughing.

I sound like the old fat guy I really am.

Thanks so much for the great replies, mates. The community aspect of this hobby is important to me, so I try to make sure that my dollars stay in the community as much as possible. I really appreciate you helping to steer me in the right direction.
