Yep. Some images just seem to burn into the retina permanently.
 
I heard somewhere that using the rear tow hook and latching to a tree to help with extractions can damage your frame. Anyone know if this is true or not?

I was winching a F250 up a ledge once (the old starvation lake steps). The Ford driver was not great and rolled back suddenly on the winchline. My TJ, strapped to a tree on the rear, was momentarily lifted off the ground. I was surprised that the cable held. In any case, there was no frame damage and that was on a lighter duty Jeep frame.
