found a poor little piggie that needed a home.....

The guy that bought Andre's 55 last year or the year before took the cummins engine and transmission and put it into his 62. He just recently sold the 62 and I picked up this 55...

there's a cummins 4bt and nv4500 waiting to go back into there, I just have a few more projects ahead of it...

Good save!!!

man looks just like buzzsaws rig. What is the suspension setup on that one? soa, 4'' ? and you say there is a 4bt and a nv4500 waiting to go back in, so do you have that or access to it? thanks

I already have the 4bt and nv4500 sitting in my garage...I bought a bread van with the cummins and sold the van after pulling the engine - I only have $650 in the engine (23,000 miles on it). Bought the nv4500 and had it gone through, I just need to find the time to put the two pieces together and put it into the truck.

It is set up for 60 axles, sprung over. I have a cut'n'turned front axle to put into there, just need the hi-steer parts and rebuild the front axle.

overall, it will be a wheeling beast, a very loud, wheeling beast.

I will make sure that ESnyder takes the maiden voyage in it....

oh...and if i can get a cage built for it, i'm thinking it will be topless next summer :grinpimp:

Nice! Where did you find that truck, was it local or a long haul?

about 10 miles from my house....

The previous owner had it shipped from Utah to here...

Howdy! Is that :Denough trailer to haul a Piggy on??:grinpimp: Good catch!!:beer::beer:

kinda like a "run what ya' brung"

I really wanted a tandem axle car trailer, but couldn't pass up a deal on the triple...it is a bit narrow though. The tires hit both rails on the trailer...

and it only carries 12,000 pounds (just a bit shy of the 9 ton loader that I need to haul)

BK that is great.. Keeping it in the family. Sounds like he grabbed the front axle that I'd built? The roof is rusty, I would cut that off.. It has had its fair share of beating and abuse. I've also never put so much money and time into a truck like that... Also hopefully not too much shoddy stuff in there. I redid many things 2-3 times but it was really what I learned on... Another thing is maybe burn in the rear spring hangers with a stronger welder. I was looking at the photos and my little 135 machine I was using at the time really did not have the juice to do that mod well...

Did he replace it with his old 62 front axle?
