Decided to scrap the project and start on a 64 Impala convertible with hydraulics. Life changes direction sometimes.

Got the radiator and coolers all mounted up so we can move on to the front end of this thing.

Everything else, tranny cooler and hydraulic steering cooler.

Turned out pretty good and we still have a lot of room up front to keep the winch tucked in tight.

Everything is insulated and sealed up with 7/16" thick high density foam to protect from vibration and help with air flow.
 
Renamed this project to zombie

Really pleased with how all of this turned out. Looking forward to extending the frame rails and geting the bumper and winch mounted up.
 
Got the frame rails extended out front to get the winch mount and start on the stubby bumper!

Got the brake booster mounted up last night...twice. Seems I can't tell which way is up afterall. Pedal is bent to fit around the steering column that will go in next.

And then have to sell it cause his daughter is off to college. :grinpimp:

that's one way to save for college.. hmm maybe i can build a buggy then sell it by college time.
