Decided to flex it out to check the rear fenders:

And then stuck Devin's wife Tammy under it to show how high its flexing!

Later on we got the backs for rear seats put in , reinstalled the rear seats and worked more on getting ready to put the actual fender wells in. Pretty productive day!!!

Yeah i guess these are both fictitious rigs till we actually see them for ourselves...
:meh:

I resemble that!

You can't rush perfection! That thing is going to be awesome. He is at Devins mercy on this. You should see some of Devins other work. It'll be worth the wait.

Got to work on it some today. Got the rear wheel tubs done!!!!!! Everytihing will be ground down seam sealed and bedlined when its done. The bead rolls are a pain in the rear to do but add a lot of rigidity.

Now we need to do the floor but it will go a lot faster. The speaker area and cubby holes that go beside the rear seats need to be done as well and then the body will come back off for welding out and seam sealer. The sides of the wheel tubs are on an angle with a bend for rigidity. The floor is planned to use nutserts and be able to remove the bed completely to access the rear winch and fuel tank.

Can the same be done to... oh... nevermind.

Can't wait to see it in Moab...in June ; )

Is there an echo in here?

Looking good Fireperson.

Its 3/16"!!!!!

:flipoff2:

18 gauge.

Those inner fendas are serious! they remind me of ammo cans... Or a bunker.. You got canned food stored in there for 2012?

Need to cut holes in it so when we go to war we can shoot out of it. Better yet turn it into a turret.

I think it looks mighty. If the Germans had this we would all be sportin schwatchtichas (sp?) instead of TEQ Badges
