I’m considering selling my ‘97 LC. I’ve had her for almost 4 years & have loved owning & driving her, but the time may be coming to sell. 203k mi when I took delivery, & currently 232k mi. Oil & filter changes done approximately every 3k mi. *just got smog done 5/18/19 & new registration, good to transfer for 90 days*

THE GOOD
  • Factory triple lockers that work great
  • Tough Dog 3” TourFlex suspension kit
  • Tough Dog caster correction plates
  • Tough Dog return to center steering stabilizer
  • Slee 2” front sway bar drop blocks
  • Slee stainless steel brake line kit (frame to axle, axle to caliper)
  • Slee double cardan front driveshaft
  • New DEPO headlight housings with professionally installed FX-R projectors/D2S 35w 5000k Morimoto HID kits
  • Professionally installed Viper 5806 security system with remote start (2 key fobs included)
  • Pioneer speakers in front & rear doors, also have an 8” Pioneer sub that I was going to install in the way back (probably with a Wits’ End quarter panel mount)
  • 18% tint all around
  • Clear turn signal lenses
  • DEPO LED brake light housings
  • Cool white LED bulbs throughout
  • Gentex auto-dim & compass rear view mirror installed
  • Front crank seal replaced
  • Oil pump O-ring replaced
  • Distributor O-ring replaced
  • Valve cover gasket replaced
  • New radiator & hoses replaced
  • Heater coolant valve & hoses replaced
  • PHH replaced
  • Spark plugs replaced
  • Transmission filter replaced, fluid flushed
  • Brake booster replaced
  • All brake rotors machined
  • All brake pads replaced
  • Front right brake rotor replaced
  • Front wheel grease seals replaced
  • Front wheel bearings repacked
  • Drivers side window auto-up mod
  • All HVAC buttons replaced
  • Brad Hicks 3D printed cup holders
  • Wits’ End fire extinguisher mount under drivers seat with a H&R Halon extinguisher
  • Wits’ End Scout lock box
  • Wits’ End useless cubby insert with Ram mount for phone & slot for CB mic
  • Weather Tech floor mats front & rear
  • 3rd row seat removed
  • New color matched seatbelts front driver & passenger
  • New hood struts
  • New rear hatch struts
  • New rear license plate light housing
  • New drivers side door handle
  • Interior is in good shape, all leather is clean & intact except drivers seat which was replaced with color matched vinyl by previous owner
THE BAD
  • Paint & trim are not in great shape
  • Consumes approximately 1qt of oil every 3-4k mi
  • Antenna motor does not always engage gear strip, so it just stays up most of the time
  • Slight vibration in driveshaft when decelerating from freeway speeds (shaft may need to be balanced)
  • Rear end is too light for springs (was going to add drawers, bumper, etc), so I’ve currently got about 600lbs of concrete anchoring the rear
  • Possible lower right area of timing cover leaking
  • Dent in passenger side quarter panel (maybe it can be PDRed, never inquired)
  • Front bumper is bent, but you’re gonna replace it with a new one so who cares, right?!
  • Small spot of rust on lower right area of rear hatch window
  • Power steering pump leaking, will need a new seal
  • Tires are old & are nearing wear bars so they will need to be replaced (ready for 315s!)
  • Plastic trim around sunroof cracked so I just broke it all off
  • Battery dying, but I have the group 31 adapter brace ready for a big honkin new battery
THE UGLY
  • No head gasket work has been done & the engine does appear to be slowly consuming coolant
I’ve attached some photos, & can always take more if requested.

Make me an offer I can’t refuse!
