This is a threaded 1.250" DOM tie rod with FJ40 555 Japanese tie Rod ends.

This was installed on my 76 FJ40 but never used. Everything is new besides being painted. I decided to do a Large pattern Knuckle swap with FJ80 ends.

The jam nuts and tie Rod are drilled for safety wire.

$60 plus shipping.

Ooooh. I will take that. Pls get me a shipping quote.

Mark,

I won't be able to get a quote until Monday. My plan is to find a tube it will fit in. It is pretty heavy.

I'll let you know.

Just realized I goofed on the Title. It is 1.250" DOM, but I think you guys knew that.

Title has been corrected

Ok.

Mark,

I just got the quote and it's not cheap.
I will have to ship the rod ends separately in a small flat rate because they won't fit into the tube.

$6.75 USPS small flat rate. (Rod ends)
$28.00 UPS. Tube (Tie Rod).

Total shipping $34.75.

I know, it sucks! Shipping prices are through the roof. Unfortunately you are about the furthest you can get from Indy within the U.S.

Let me know if you want it as I have others in line.

Thanks
Steve

It is obvious to me that this is karma, after what we went through with your hardtop panel. It is what it is. Do I have your PP address?

If you think FedX might be cheaper I can stop by there tomorrow after work.

Thanks for the offer Steve, vbut it won't be necessary. Your time is valuable, just like mine. Payment sent.

Mark,

Parts are shipped, should be there in 4 days.
I can email you the tracking if you would like.
Thanks
Steve

Got the ends on Th. Tube showed up yesterday. Opened the box and found shwag with my ends. Nice! I  SHWAG

Gonna let the wife try and open the tube. Indestructable packing for an indestructable part!

Thanks Steve. I'll let you know when it ends up on the truck.;)

So she opens up the package, but doesn't know what she's looking at. So I tell her. Eyes widen. I say "It's pretty much indestructible."

Her reply: "I don't want to know what could destroy THAT!"
