DBS311, are you going both Friday and Saturday nights? I'm located in San Diego and there is an outside chance I could go even if only for a little while. I know its a little late to be planning but I'm just seeing what you're doing.

I have a friend who lives in Redlands who I would stay with Friday night. Is there room on the trail for another rig on Saturday? Is there any room to possibly camp Saturday or did I need previous reservations? Sorry this is late but my schedule just opened up so hence my availability.

i might have a pass will know on Thursday if so i will bring 1/2 an 80 (aka my fj40)

well my girlfriend just broke up with me, so i will be there

is this the address for the Fawnskin Fire station 39188 Rim of the World Dr, Fawnskin, CA?

I want to make the runs on Saturday but need to be back down the mountain to Riverside around 3-4? Is that completely out of the question? How many/which trails is everyone planning on running?

Sorry for all the questions..I just got the truck lifted and really want to play though.

Is anyone running on Sunday?

Yes its right next to the main fawnskin section with the bulidings (resturants) off the highway,

We're going to run as many trails sat as people want/time permits such as John Bull, Holcomb Creek, etc so you can split after the 1st or 2nd one if you want to get home early.

Brian

Brian, thanks for arranging this. 9 of us were there Saturday AM, sorry we missed you RAYJON. We ran John Bull and then I had to leave to get home. The rest of the group was heading over to Holcomb then going to camp. There should be plenty of pics being posted tonight or Monday. Very impressive watching Tare's brother (great guy forgot his name) run John Bull in basically a stock 100 (just slee sliders).

Hope to do it again soon,
David...

I would also be waiting for the pics- I want to see what I missed! I have been checking this thread all day!

You guys did not miss much, just “THE GREATEST OFF-ROAD RUN IN THE HISTORY OF SOCAL 80s!!!”. It was a great time, nice to meet some of the other member of the SoCal 80s. Frank, Brian, Will & Joaquim were new members that I had never meet before. Thanks again to Brian for setting this run up, sorry you got called away to work. David & Ian it was great to see you two again. I will try and get some pictures up on www.hiredassassinphotos.com really soon. We ran John Bull on Saturday and Holcomb Creek on Sunday.

your brother dan wheeled the snoot out of his 100, I take back calling him a good for nothing rock stacking hippie. I think that i stacked more rocks for my self then he did. I takes balls to wheel a rig as nice as him.

This was a real fun trip meeting and wheeling with all you guys was awesome. My bud took over 200 pictures on the john bull run, saw them and they're awesome. Big thanks to all that helped break into my truck. Oh yea, I say Jack should be the offical mascot of socal 80's, my 2 cents.

I'm pretty sure that site has been down because he meant to type www.hiredassassinphotos.com

Try that instead of the assass site he typed.:flipoff2:

I heard that an "assass" is simply an assassin in training. I'd much rather hire assassin photos than assass photos.

ya, it's hired ass-ass-in photos.com.

Hmmm, somehow that just sounds wrong....

Photo's will not be up till later. I didn't take as many as usual. Something about driving the trail AND taking photos. Just can't seem to take as many when I'm behind the wheel.

RFJTOY nice avitar! That photo looks familiar.
